My guest for this episode is Ben Einsphar, a Denver real estate investor and client who contributed a chapter to the 2020 Guide to Denver Real Estate Investing Strategies book.
Ben, along with his wife, Alyson, purchased a home in Arvada to house hack and operate as an Airbnb. For those guys out there who are trying to convince your significant other to house hack as a way to get a foothold in the Denver real estate market, check out Podcast #172: Denver House Hacking Interview with Ben & Alyson Einsphar which I recorded in June with him and Alyson. She was not supportive of the idea at first but came around after learning more about it on BiggerPockets and the denverinvestmentrealestate.com website. They have great advice to save you time and headaches if you are just starting out on the house hacking path.
Watch the video or listen to the podcast (at bottom of page) for the full discussion.
Also, be on the lookout for a house hacking panel that I am coordinating with Ben in the next month to answer questions about house hacking with local investors who are actively house hacking in Denver.
